Politics and the Kingdom

This week, amid significant political and social unrest in our nation, Pastor Rob Danz spoke about the current state of politics and how we, as Christians, should respond. It's important to remember that Christianity is independent of any governmental system. Our primary allegiance is to Jesus, and this foundation should guide our political views. We need to consider what Jesus teaches about politics, how we should respond to the situation, and how we ought to vote.

Reflection questions: 

 • Could it be possible that your political viewpoints are contrary to the heart of God?

 • Could it be possible that your political beliefs are rooted more in your upbringing and culture than in the Word? 

 • Could it be that you have become jaded and hopeless because of the political climate?

 • Could it be possible that your disdain for politics has led you to overlook places of injustice and sin?
